CARS Party!

My kids LOVE CARS!  They can play with them for hours!  And for my oldest, who just turned 3, I knew just what type of party he would want…a Disney CARS party!!!

He was SO excited about his CARS cake.  He would tell everyone he knew that he was having a CARS cake.  I was unsure if I could pull it off, being the great baker I am and all!  But, in the end, it turned out great, tasted yummy, and I had the happiest 3 year old ever!  He still talks about the cake!

When I was gathering ideas I saw a rainbow cake on Pinterest.  I thought that was so fun and decided to try it.  It was super easy and turned out so cute.  I actually tried it 2 different ways…one layer I did the tie dye and the next layer I swirled it slightly.  You can check out the link to the girl’s website if you’d like to attempt it yourself.
